Farfan Family - New Beginnings

My name is Cara and I have had the honor of befriending the Farfan family these last four weeks. This family is the epitome of strength, bravery and perseverance. From what they endured In Venezuela to the two month terrifing journey to come to America, it feels like nothing short of a miracle that they made it alive. When I look at the sweet little faces of their 7 yo and 10 yo girls, I am in awe of their smiles and composure.

The Farfan family lived in a shelter for two months, and went to work immediately to make profound moves for their family. They got their sweet girls into school at sandoval elementary and Anthony secured some part time work quickly. He is a painter by trade and has been hired for a few jobs already in the highland area. This allowed him recently to secure an apartment in the Denver area and we just moved them into it on friday.

Anthony and his wife want nothing more than to work. Per my requeat, Anthony has made a short list of items he needs to schedule painting jobs regularly. He said he only wants used items, and would gladly accept anything on this list that is older ans used. However I also requested we place the items on amazon if that felt like an easier way to contribute to his work from

afar.

I am asking all my Colorado friends to consider Anthony for painting jobs. I also ask that you consider his wife, Avigail, for house cleaning ans cooking. They want nothing more than to earn a stable income and keep the roof over their heads they have worked so hard for. They need more work immediately in order to keep their home and their girls fed.

I have started this fundraiser to givethe Farfan family a running start for their new lives here. Any money raised will be used to help with next two months of

rent, bills, food and tools needed to work. They have done the impossible to make it this far and could really use some love. We are among a humanitarian crisis and I know colorado has given so much already. But if you can give anything, even $5, it would make such an impact on this family
