The average funeral costs between $7,000 and $12,000. This includes viewing and burial, basic service fees, transporting remains to a funeral home, a casket, embalming, and other preparation. The average cost of a funeral with cremation is $6,000 to $7,000. These costs do not include a cemetery, monument, marker, or other things like flowers. I am hoping through crowd fundraising she can have one less thing to worry about as she navigates the incredible heartache of losing her son, and the unexpected and devastating financial impact of an unexpected death.
We do not know the details behind this senseless murder. The only information we have is what is on the City of Shelton Facebook page from June 24th saying that they are investigating the homicide and that there was apparent trauma to his body.
