Never did we think we would ever have to set up a fundraiser for the man that is the glue to our family...the man that means so much to so many...but life can change in a minute and our did on August 3rd... here's our story....

Our dad is the hardest working and most caring person around.  Unfortunately in the early morning hours of August 3rd our mom was woke up to our dad having a stroke. Dad was taken by ambulance to Aspirus to be evaluated. It was then determined that the best route would be to send him in the Flight For Life to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota for further evaluation and eventually surgery to fix the blood clot in his brain. Since Monday, we have been waiting and watching the swelling in his brain to determine when the surgery will take place. The surgeon is hoping that this will take place this Monday or Tuesday. Even after his surgery the recovery will be long and hard and it could be weeks before we are able to have him transferred back to Wausau for rehabilitation. Our mom will be staying with him until we can get him back to Wausau and any help with hotel rooms and meals while she is there will help out tremendously.
