As-Salamu-Alaikum, please take few minutes to read the following plea to familiarize yourself and others about the Farmersville Muslim Cemetery and to make an informed decision to be part of a Sadaqah Jariyah.
This Cemetery project was initiated in April of 2013 under the visionary leadership of the Collin County Masajids - Allen, Frisco, McKinney, East and West Plano - accompanied later by Carrollton and IANT.
Subsequently, in 2015, a dedicated team of volunteers found 34 acres of land in the City of Farmersville; a space large enough to accommodate over 11,000 graves of Muslims. Our community has overcome many hurdles since the purchase of the land in July 2015 until the City Council approved the project in September of 2018.
All praise be to Allah, the most merciful, the most compassionate. On 7th June, 2020, with the presence of the respected Imams, Scholars and Ameers of all seven Masajids, the groundbreaking of this long-awaited project took place. Construction is in progress with 50% of the required funds on-hand from your generous contributions. Construction is expected to be completed before the end of this year, Insha’Allah. The purpose of this Go Fund Me effort is to allow all of you and the extended community to come forward one more time to help us complete the project.
We are only looking to raise $250K from this Go Fund Me.

While the Farmersville Muslim Cemetery will be completed in seven months, Insha’Allah, it will serve our extended community for the years to come. Our generation and few more generations after that will have one less anxiety to worry about at the time of losing a loved one. It is then that their dua will help us no matter where we are at that time. Please invest once again in this Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous Charity.
