Help bring sustainable farms & jobs to South Sudan

Hi, my name Rol Diing. I left my home Aweil, South Sudan 35 years ago. I have spent 21 of those years in Kansas City, 8 years as a displaced person in North Sudan and 5 years in Egypt as a refugee. After 35 years. I finally visited my homeland summer of 2022 to 1) get married and 2) purchase 60 acres.

I'm looking for help to pay for:

Food security has always been a problem in South Sudan, so I saw an opportunity to help my and community become self sustainable by cultivating the land and raising animals. I am asking for financial help with the firm since we are still in the early stages.

I have hired 45 local people to work on the firm. 42 of the workers are women who did not have a job and are supporting their families. 3 of the workers are men who didn't have a job before this.

I bought a tractor which enabled me to cultivate 15 acres of land.

Me building a 60 acre fence by hand to protect the farm from domestic animals. I hired a team to help to build the fence and I worked along with them.

I hired 5 people to cut down trees on 5 of the acres, so that it can be cultivated for food. I've hired 6 more people to remove the roots from the remaining 45 uncultivated acres so that the ground can be cultivated.

We planted sorghum, peanuts, okra, corn and 45 different fruits ranging from mangoes, oranges, avocadoes, lemons, grapes. I pay 3 people to fetch water from the well to water these fruits.

I will receive the funds to my American bank account and will use them for the above projects. I pay my workers daily on the days that they work.
