Diana Farrar House Fire!

In the blink of an eye everything changed for our mom, Diana (Aunt DeeDee) Farrar, who has already had a difficult year. After a rough Summer of 2021, the only thing that kept her going was coming back to her little house. On the night of Thursday, May 26th 2022, a fire took one of the things she cherished the most, her home. Thankfully our sister who lives and took care of our mom was able to pull her out, but unfortunately our mom did not get out without injury. Mom is currently in the Burn Unit at VCU for numerous 2nd and 3rd degree burn injuries. She begins the 1st of many skin graph surgeries this coming week. The house and all of my mom's and sister's belongings are gone. More so than their belongings, we also lost a few vital and much-loved members of our family; Our beloved puppy Luna and cats Midnight and Pretty Boy. Thank you to everyone who has shown compassion and has helped our family in any way throughout the last few days, your kindness does not go unnoticed!
