A week before finishing my first year of college I was diagnosed with a malignant non-seminomatous germ cell tumor, which is a type of testicular cancer.

I noticed a growing pain over the past year that got bad enough that it sent me to the ER. They found a large tumor in my left abdomen along with blood clots in my lungs and kidneys. This began causing obstructions in a main artery affecting my kidney function.

Thankfully this is a very treatable cancer and is known to react well to chemotherapy. There were no complications with my first treatment and I was discharged and am currently following treatment as an outpatient. I have 4 treatments scheduled over the next few months along with injections to increase my white blood cell count.

Donations will contribute to my treatment, as I currently cannot work due to my condition. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Note: We don’t want anyone to worry! Farrel has been handling everything EXTREMELY well both physically and mentally. We are so thankful that he is not in pain anymore from the tumor and that he has not reacted badly to the chemo treatments so far.
