At 32 years old, I’ve recently been diagnosed with terminal stage 4 spinal cancer and have been given an estimated one year to live.

Despite this prognosis, I want to use my time to fundraise and support others facing similar challenges by taking part in the Belfast Half Marathon, which I will complete in a wheelchair. The cost of the necessary wheelchair is approximately £5,000.

I also hope to fulfill some bucket list experiences and create lasting memories with my family, friends, and my future wife. I’ve always had a passion for travel and exploring new places, even if it’s now from a wheelchair. However, the high cost of travel insurance presents a barrier that limits my opportunities.

We are also actively exploring alternative treatments abroad that may prolong my life, particularly if I am accepted into clinical trials.
