Fat Kitty City needs help saving Sam!

Sam was recently adopted into his forever home through our Kitties for Companionship program, which means he is in permanent foster care. Because Sam has medical needs that made him less likely to be adopted and difficult to care for at the sanctuary, he needed to find a warm and loving home where he could be nurtured and loved and where he could give back his love to someone else who needed it just as much. His medical care would be provided to his senior adopter by Fat Kitty City for the rest of his life.

Sam has Hyperthyroidism and was on medication to keep it under control, but unfortunately, he was having a negative reaction to it. Sam now needs Radioiodine treatment in order to save his life.

Sam has been the happiest he's been in the weeks since he's been in his new home. He is only 11 years young and has plenty of life to live. He's been playing and cuddling with his new mom and deserves a happily ever after. This treatment is expensive so if you can help contribute to it

In addition to preventing further suffering through our free/low cost spay and neutering, we are the only sanctuary (not shelter) in Northern California for felines. We place hundreds of animals in new homes through adoption at retail stores.
