Fatal Accident Needs Your Support

My name is Lisa Coleman. Amanda Busby and I am raising funds to support our sister with medical assistance for her daughter that was recently in an accident that caused severe injuries and the fatality of her life partner. Rochelle Landon and her partner were passengers in a vehicle that was in a single car accident, striking a tree. Rochelle is currently fighting for her life in Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She is unaware that she lost her partner. Rochelle is suffering from many broken bones, a severed spine, a broken neck, and many other internal injuries, as well and superficial injuries throughout her body! She has been on life support since she was brought in by McLean EMT and Fire Department. There is not certainty of how these injuries will affect Rochelle in the days to come. We do know that the recovery process will be a very long road ahead. She will need her mother with her all the way! Unfortunately, Shawna Landon, her mom, is located an hour away in Ithaca, NY and is needing assistance with funds for travel, lodging, meals, hospital parking and medical bills for her daughter.

Shawna had previous plans to go back to North Carolina at the end of October, because that is where she has been residing for many years, but with the tragedy of the accident, she will not be able to leave New York! Shawna will be looking for housing so that she can stay with her daughter! Please HELP! Also, THANK YOU ALL who have a called to check on Shawna and Rochelle! I created this GoFundMe because I know Shawna and those of you that know her, KNOW that she will never tell you if she needs anything, nor would she ever ask for anything! This is a way for us to help her without her having to ask for help! She is one of the strongest people I know, but sometimes, all of that strength needs to be directed towards one thing or person, and in this time and many months ahead, that will be her daughter’s recovery.
