Fatal Motorcycle Accident Too Soon-RIP Sam

Donation protected
This GoFundMe account is to help with the funeral/burial cost for Salvatore "Sam" Munici-Adams, as well as the financial strain faced in his absence. Sam was only 35 years old, with so much life ahead of him. He is survived by a family that is beyond broken-hearted and distraught. He was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend.

Sam was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on March 10th, 2022. On his way home from work, riding his newly acquired 2001 Suzuki GSX-R1000, he collided with a Freightliner while heading westbound through Slidell on I-12 near Airpot Road, just a few miles from their home, resulting in the untimely ending of his life.

His soulmate, Ashlie Adams, looked forward to celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary, coming up in December. Instead, she's in mourning after unexpectantly losing the love of her life. They met in the summer of 2010 and have been inseparable since. Their plans, built over the past 12 years for a future together, are gone. Now, Ashlie faces the future of creating a new plan without her other half and raising their children without him.

Their 15-year-old daughter, Madison "Maddie" Marie Bass, is just a couple of months shy of her sweet 16th birthday. Although Sam didn't meet Maddie until she was 4, she was his daughter, and he loved her without halt or hesitation. He loved her just as much as he loved their 6-year-old son, Salvatore "Buba" Miles Adams. Sam stood firm when facing the obstacles of fatherhood. He did not falter when choosing to love a child, not of his blood, as his own, without condition. He didn't weaken when his son was diagnosed with autism. He faced the day-to-day challenges of raising his children bravely and relentlessly, no matter the circumstances.

Words cannot begin to describe the bond between Sam, his mother, Antonia Munici, and his brother, Guiseppe Munici. They are all each other had for so long. The # of them against the world. Antonia raised her boys into men, doing what she could to prepare them for the world. Nothing could have prepared her for the loss of her eldest son, especially in such a tragic way. Guiseppe had spoken to Sam earlier in the day on Thursday. The conversation started with both of them saying 'Love ya', and continued on to talk about their different plans for the weekend. Now, the weekend consists of making arrangements that no one thought they'd have to make for a long time.

Sam was the leading provider for his wife and children. Medical bills for his son hindered him from being able to save. He doesn't have a life insurance policy or anything put away for a rainy day. Although Sam is gone to wherever we go after moving on, his family is still here. The mortgage is still here. The bills are still coming. The family needs time to mourn and heal without fearing what could happen if they can't figure out the finances immediately. Please donate what you can. Every penny helps.
