Fate & Destiny - In Memory of Carolyn Morgan

‘Fate & destiny, a journey into the unknown, none of us know what the future may hold’

Carolyn Parnham (nee Morgan) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her early 20’s with little to no symptoms. As time went by, this very precious lady succumbed to this deadly disease, however always remained positive and wore the most beautiful smile on her face.

Carolyn never complained about her very challenging daily life, instead she supported and encouraged all those that she knew to persevere and achieve their goals and ambitions, supporting them to fulfil their dreams, the irony of which, she was unable to do herself due to the MS. Carolyn was a truly inspirational, fun and humorous soul that lifted and cheered everyone that crossed her path.

During the early hours of Thursday 26th October, Carolyn passed away at Glangwili Hospital. Unfortunately, her immediate family were not informed for some hours later, which adds to the devastating loss of the Daughter of Mabel and Sister of Huw and Robert, their respective partners and her nephews and nieces. The private funeral was organised and arranged by her ex-husband, Carolyn's private service was at Zoar Chapel Funeral Home in Llanteg on Thursday 9th November, prior to a private cremation at Narberth Crematorium.

There were so many friends and family that would have wanted to attend and show their respect and share in saying their farewells to dear Carolyn, but it was not to be, to add, the family would have appreciated the presence of all that knew Carolyn.

Carolyn spent the last few years of her life attending, using the wonderful facilities at Hope MS Therapy Centre at Milford Haven, she and Mabel made some good friends there, and Carolyn looked forward to her weekly visit.

The family have been offered donations in the memory of Carolyn, and on good authority, Hope MS Therapy Centre would be the charity Carolyn would have chosen for these monetary donations to go to.

This charity page has been created just for that purpose, as all funds raised will help this cause immensely, as this facility is so important to MS sufferers, stroke patients and their families.
