Father and Daughter Stricken with Cancer
Donation protected
The Ashes are an incredible family. Jason and Heather have 10 children of their own and recently adopted their youngest son in 2023.
Jason was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago. Due to his health, Jason has been unable to continue working full time. Jason has continued to battle cancer and has been working part time as his health and treatments allow.
A new health crisis has sadly struck the family. After a hospital stay this month, testing has revealed two different types of cancer are impacting the eldest daughter Emily (Age 27).
Jason has undergone two major surgeries and several medical procedures, including chemo and radiation.
Now Emily is facing a battery of tests as medical teams build a treatment plan for her, which will most likely include surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation.
The Ash family has been longtime volunteers with The Friends Auxiliary and other causes throughout the state. They were recognized with a West Virginia Governor’s Award for their service to others in 2018.
I have had the privilege of working alongside this remarkable family for a decade. I hope to raise money to provide some financial security as this courageous family continues to seek treatments for both of their loved ones.
Funds collected will be used to help the Ash family with medical expenses and their emergent needs.
