Father and Daughter's Battle with Diabetes
Donation protected
I'm a type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed at 4 years old. Juvenile onset is something that I wish no child should have. There is no cure, and there is no possible way to live a healthy life if you don't have enough money for insulin. My family had to struggle to survive because of the costs of medical care and everything else that comes along with juvenile diabetes. I am now 39 years old, and because of the lack of money and the price to live if you have diabetes, I am now suffering with severe diabetic complications. I am going blind and have heart failure. My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 3 years ago. Her childhood will never be the same; diabetes forces a child to grow up so fast. It broke my heart to hear her diagnosis. I am now disabled, and trying to afford my medical needs and my daughter's is very difficult. I hope you can help me by giving what you can. I want to get out of the debt that is type 1 diabetes and let my daughter enjoy being a child. Thank you for your time and support.
