Greetings of Peace!

I, Rev. Fr. Arnelo A. Galeon, am reaching out to your benevolent heart for financial assistance for my hospitalization expenses. I am currently admitted at National Kidney and Transplant Institute.

I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease last July 2022 and started hemodialysis treatment on September 2022. I started working up for kidney transplant, since it is the only advisable option for my disease on October 2022. The workups which included laboratory works and procedures were costly. I was supposed to have my transplant on September 2023, but I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease (3-vessel) underwent Coronary Artery Bypass Graft last September 14, 2023. After months of recovery from CABG, I was admitted at National Kidney and Transplant Institute last April 23, 2024. I was supposed to undergo KT on April 27, but, again, some irregularities were found in my laboratory results.

Additional diagnostic tests and procedures were done.

Finally, on May 11, 2024, I was cleared and underwent kidney transplant. As of now, I am slowly recovering and still admitted at NKTI. Because of almost 3 years of battling with end stage renal disease, my medications, my heart surgery and pre-kidney transplant workups and treatments, my financial resources were exhausted.

My hospital bills, which now amounts to more than a million pesos, may hopefully be covered by guarantee letters, from various government officials and offices. Unfortunately, the doctors professional fees must be paid in cash and cannot also be included in promisory note.

In lieu of this, I would like to humbly ask for monetary assistance to help me pay for the doctors' professional fees which will surely be costly. Because of my high risk condition, a lot of doctors in their respective specialization (cardiologist, neohrologist, hematologist, etc.) are part of my kidney transplant team.
