Father unable to work awaiting surgery

Hello my name is Freddie L. Varner IV and I’m starting this fundraiser for my Father Freddie L Varner III. He is 71 years old and has recently hurt his back/spine at work and has been in very severe pain and unable to walk . He is currently awaiting the doctors to determine if surgery is even possible , in that time however he is unable to work. It is also unclear if even after the surgery he will be able to work again . It is possible the surgery will not be for a few months and he has only been given pain medication to try and help until then but it does very little . He is very reluctant to ask for any assistance but it is desperately needed. It may sound cliche but truly , any amount will help drastically.
