Hi, my name is Jackie and I’m starting a fundraiser for my friend Racheal, who suffered a horrific loss when her son Cyrus was killed by his father early Saturday morning, 10/21/23, and her daughter Piper was injured In the house fire attempting to save her twin brother. The father took the life of his son before killing himself, then tried to take the life of his daughter who is surviving … having difficulty breathing currently … in the burn unit. The mother was not there to protect her children as she was in the hospital working, being the sole financial provider for their family. Their home Is completely destroyed. Cyrus was a sweet, loving child, who loved his mother, and also had a strong faith in Christ. The twins were champion swimmers and the light of their mother’s life. Their mother, Racheal was the sole provider for the family, often working overtime to support her two children and husband. She dedicated her lives to her children and to Christ. She is also a nurse who gives her all to her patients. In addition, she was homeschooling her children. Rachael is now without any home or assets, and needs to be there physically, mentally, emotional for her daughter, who is struggling to survive. This is an incredibly tragic time for them. They will need money for medical bills, lost income, housing, clothing, food, etc. This family is in desperate need of love and support from their surrounding community as this mother sees no way out at this time.
