Father killed by man DUI Please Help

It is with a heavy heart that I share this post.  In a blink of an eye a life was stolen by a drunk driver. He was a loving husband, father, brother and a very hard working man. 

Last night Mario Góngora was struck by a drunk driver outside his house while taking out the trash. If it were only a second or a minute later he would have still been here. Life is so unfair- this was the act of an irresponsible drunk driver. 

Mario was a loving family man. He was the Pilar to his family, a go getter a dreamer and  he was passionate for life.  Mario leaves behind a beautiful wife and 3 children: 1 college graduate, 1 currently in college, and the other in grade school. Mario was well known in his community , in Petaluma, for being such a loving, hard working caring man. He always put his children and family first. Mario had pursued his passion and dedicated over 20 years as a chef. Recently, his dreams came true when he opened his own burger joint, JJ’s Burger Joint, in Novato.  Please don’t let his hard work and life be in vain.  His children and wife need your support. 

The burden of finances will be great and to think of “ do we have enough money” when your mourning the loss of a loved father, husband and brother is hard to imagine.

 Please support, us, the Góngora family with what ever monetary donation you can give. All proceedings will go to his widow, Addy Ortegon, to arrange funeral expenses and help out with other financial burdens such as rent.
