Father of 5, Bicep Repair
Donation protected
Calvin Deelah is a father of 5 children who needs help getting his arm repaired so that he can get back to work.
As a self employed, small business owner/new startup, he doesn't have insurance. Unfortunately, last year he was hit by a drunk driver while assisting at an accident. Thankfully, she accepted fault, but the claim is slow going and he still hasn't had his surgery.
The purpose of this gofundme, though, is that on Saturday, July 21st, he fell and tore his dorsal ligament - his left bicep is not functioning. There is a small window in which to have this repaired and regain full use and mobility of the arm. As a cash pay customer, he doesn't have the money for this surgery - which is why we need your help.
This father of 5, is a hero, saving lives and putting his own at risk, starting up a small business and focusing on women's equality in the workplace, and raising a family.
For best odds of recovery, he would need his surgery by August 11th... every day after closes that window for full recovery and best repair. The amount we are striving for would completely pay for the cost of the surgery, plus 2 weeks wages for recovery.
If you can help this man, you will also be helping his family, his customers, and his community. Thanks for considering!
