Glenn Williams, Father of Appin Rd Crash

Donation protected
I'm looking to raise funds for Glenn in this horrific time, for medical support and loss of wages.

Glenn was travelling down Appin Road with his partner and his 3 children on the 13th of March and was struck by a work truck head on. The car rolled multiple times and as a result of the impact he was trapped inside for close to an hour before emergency services were able to cut him out of his vehicle. He lost a lot of blood at the scene and was treated with a blood transfusion on the road before being air lifted to Liverpool hospital. He was fighting for life for hours after being in the hospital and then he became stable. His children come away with cuts and bruises and his partner Kirstie sustained a collapsed lung and multiple bruises.

Glenn sustained massive head trauma, a dislocated hip, broken pelvis which he has had surgery for and a deep long cut up his right arm, which was the main cause of his blood loss. The doctors induced him into a coma which he woke up from on Sunday the 16th of March, with no memory of what had happened or any memory of recent life events leading up to the accident. He is unaware of the severity of his injuries as his head trauma has given him severe amnesia, with his short term memory a real worry. He is now underway with physio for his pelvis and hip but the doctors are saying it will be months before he can walk properly again. We are praying for a full recovery for Glenn, for both his mind and body.

He is a strong bloke and I know he will push through his rehabilitation with force, but it's going to be a long road ahead and he needs all the support he can get. Thank you
