Father Seeking Help for Custody of His Daughter

My name is Jordan, I am a new father and I am fundraising for legal fees to fight for custody of my two-month-old daughter.

The mother of my child and her mother are both trying to keep me from seeing my daughter until there is a custody order. This was a blindside as we were working on our relationship and suddenly one day the house was empty.

I want nothing more than to 'break the mold' and the cycle of generational trauma in my family of not having a father present in their child's life.

I am actively working on being the best possible father I can be, once I found out that my fiancé at the time was pregnant I was ready to be a father and did everything I could to prepare myself. I read the parenting books, and watched the videos, and actively sought out advice. The day she was born was the happiest of my life and I have never known a stronger love.

My daughter is only 2 months old at the moment and every day that passes eats away at me. I have spent every day with my daughter since she was born until now. I don't know how to relax anymore without our routine, I sang her to sleep every night while she laid on my chest. I don't think I have ever missed anything so much. It saddens me to be away from the one person that I will always love more than anything, she is my little angel and I can't stand to be away from her.

Anything you can do will help, I don't have much family I can turn to for monetary support at this time. I am struggling to find a way to pay the lawyers and keep my employment and my housing.

Lack of funds will not slow me down, I love my daughter more than any obstacle in the world could stop.
