"Father to the Fatherless" 12 Passenger Van needed
Donation protected
Psalm 68:5 tells us that "A Father of the fatherless, a defender of widows is God in His holy habitation."
Jacqeem Council's passion begins with his own story of not having his father in his life. With the healing he received through Jesus, Jacqueem developed a supernatural love and compassion for teenage boys that didn't have fathers in their lives. He mentors these young men through basketball, while encouraging them, giving them the consistency of always showing up, and showing them the love of Jesus. While in Connecticut, Jacqueem would pick up boys often times at 9pm to play basketball, providing a healthy outlet that would keep them from otherwise getting into trouble on the streets.
Jacqueem says that the ministry wasn't necessarily basketball in and of itself. The real ministry took place in the van - during the many conversations that took place on the way to basketball and on the way to drop off in the middle of the night - oftentimes getting home around 3am after making all his drop offs.
Jacqueem has since moved to Orlando with his wife, Isamar, and their four sons, and desires to continue this ministry to fatherless high school boys. However in order to do this they are in need of a 12 Passenger Van.
Please consider partnering with what the Lord is doing in the lives of fatherless boys in Orlando through this ministry! Every gift, large or small, makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. We are believing that many of our city's boys will be saved and set free through this ministry, and they will meet their True Father, the One who is a Father to the fatherless!
Thank you in advance for your partnership and prayers!
