Father's leg amputated due to DUI driver

My father was hit by a drunk driver in an SUV from behind being crushed between his vehicle and the drivers, Tuesday, July 9th at 6:30 PM while unloading some audio equipment into a bar he was scheduled to perform with a band at. Injuries include a thoracic fracture on his spine requiring surgery, a fractured right arm, very slightly collapsed lung, bruising of the liver sac, laceration on the right arm, a fracture in the left lower leg combined with a fractured left knee cap, and finally an amputated leg above the knee on the right (dominant) side of the body. Our family has less than zero dollars to deal with this extreme tragedy. I have never been one to ask for help prior to this but this situation really brings to light how important community is in situations like this. In the mean time he needs all the help he can get.
