Help find my father and Cousin lost at SEA!
Donation protected
My father Christopher James Bush Sr, an 18 year Navy war Veteran and my Cousin Dionisio Sanchez, the captain of the boat, have been lost at sea since Monday, May 10th. They were towing a boat from Key West, Florida to Guanaja, Honduras. They left May 5th. Our last contact with my dad was Monday, at 2:00 a.m. saying happy mothers day, and that everything is ok, they would call when they got in. They were 133 Miles from Guanaja. They Sent the message through a Garmin In Reach that also shares their last location from that message. It later lost battery. As of now, we tried to get the US Coast Guard involved with this search, as my dad is a Citizen and Dio is a permanent resident, and they said because they are in the Caribbean they can not help. All they did was share drift routes on where they could have been. We need the money to fly a private search plane from Mexico to see if they can be seen through Air. Time is of the essence and any possible help would mean the world to us. We already contacted Belize and the US Embassy there. They said they do not have the capacity for these types of situations. They flew a helicopter and they saw nothing. This is hurting me and my family very bad, these Men were loved by the community and need our help. The miney will also go towards getting a plane to fly from Cayman Islands. If you need any more information, message me at [phone redacted]
