Father's Day at Sacred Heart School

Hello again my beautiful friends!

As many of you know, I work at Sacred Heart School and many of you generously helped raise money for our very first Mother's Day Stall in May. It was an incredible success, with the children being so excited that most of them couldn't wait until the Sunday morning to give their mums the gift!

Well... it's time for our very first Father's Day Stall! We are very keen to acknowledge the fathers in our community. We will hold our Father's Day Stall on Wednesday 31st August. We will ask children to bring a gold coin to the Father's Day Stall, if they have one, and any money collected will go toward gifts for the stall next year. No child will miss out, every child will have the opportunity to go 'shopping'! All we need is approximately 100 gifts at $7 each (this includes wrapping and a gift bag) so $700 all up.

This will be the children's very first opportunity to buy their dad, or in many cases 'special male role model', a gift for Father's Day. If you'd like help bring some joy to our children, please take a minute to donate. If you can spare $7 you will fund one gift. Feel free to donate any amount, even a couple of dollars will be most appreciated!
