Fathers Fundraiser w The LGBT Asylum Project

Tax deductible
Fathers imagines AIDS never happened and a generation lived to change the world. Donations are tax-deductible and also benefit The LGBT Asylum Project, providing legal services for queer asylum seekers.

Fathers is a community funded history project that teaches lessons of the AIDS pandemic. It imagines that AIDS never happened and a generation lived to change the world.

Fathers Project began as a short film and evolved into a web series, then a feature film and now record of pre-Covid queer life. In 2019 Fathers was the subject of an Emmy-winning PBS documentary and has become a platform to discuss AIDS, Covid, race and politics.

Fathers is streaming now at iftheylived.org

Donations also benefit The LGBT Asylum Project. Center for Immigrant Protection offers pro-bono legal representation to LGBT immigrants seeking freedom from persecution within the borders of the United States. Typically, this protection will be in the form of asylum, but may include other protective statuses
