Fausto Employee Fund

Dear Fausto Friends and Family,
After operating for two and half years in Park Slope, Brooklyn we had to close our doors to the public. Although we wanted to hang on for as long as possible, the city gave us no choice but to shut down. Ultimately we feel that this was the right decision for the health and safety of our team and the community at large.
While we are truly saddened that we don't get to serve you any longer, what is truly devastating is what this has done to our team. The hard-working people both in the front and back of house at Fausto have been the lifeblood of this restaurant and now they are without a paycheck for an unforeseeable amount of time. I can not stress enough how devastating this is to everyone who worked so hard to make Fausto run each and every day including the dishwashers, porters, line cooks, servers, hosts, bartenders, prep cooks, sous chefs and many more.
While we hope our closure will be temporary - we know that the pain of this is real and happening now. Many of you have been generous enough to ask how you can help out and this is how: donate to this fund. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this fund will go to the hardworking members of the Fausto team.
We completely understand that the restaurant industry is not the only industry that has been negatively impacted by this disaster. We're all in this together. But if you're able to give, please do so now.
We hope to serve you a Negroni and bowl of orecchiette soon. Until then, THANK YOU.
