Recently our landlady, friend, and neighbor Miss Faye was involved in preventing a mugging that happened right outside her own home!
This is a woman who went out of her way to save another senior citizen and neighbor who was being assaulted for her purse in broad daylight, and she managed to prevent anything bad from happening and saving the woman's purse to boot.
It's just another good deed for Miss Faye. She's an incredibly generous landlady and great neighbor. She's been a longtime longshoreman, city council candidate, and great friend to all the neighborhood working food drives and campaigning on a platform of local improvement, especially for McClymonds School nearby, where her children went.
Faye's been a homeowner for decades and has been keeping up her property for years, and even stepped in to build her own home when the contractors left her. She wants for very little and asks for very little, and just wants to make sure her house and home are taken care of so it can pass to her kids and family without issue.
We're trying to put together a little fund and help her get things paid off so she's got one less thing to worry about, especially if she's going to keep stopping all these criminals!
The goal is a lofty one but purely aspirational. Any little bit helps, and it's a great way to say thank you to a local neighborhood superhero.
