Prayers for Colton, Rene and Vern

Donation protected
Mommy (Rene) and Daddy (Vern) were so excited to find out they we pregnant. During the exciting "is it a boy or girl" ultrasound, they discovered an issue. No parent ever wants to hear the words "I need to go get the doctor". They found out Colton had the rare condition of Bladder Exstrophy. "Bladder exstrophy (also known as Ectopia vesicae) is a congenital anomaly that exists along the spectrum of the exstrophy-epispadias complex and most notably involves protrusion of the urinary bladder through a defect in the abdominal wall." Mommy and daddy were blessed to take Colton home for a few months to get him strong enough for surgery. Today 10/26/15, they had to hand baby Colton over to the doctors and watc
h them walk away. This is a pain that no parent ever wants to feel. He's in surgery for 12 hours. While insurance covers most stuff, the trip back and forth to Philadelphia, meal expenses, gas expenses, etc will pile up. We're asking friends and family to help donate whatever you can. Even one dollar helps! Mom and dad would appreciate whatever they get during this very tough time. I'll keep this page updated as often as I can.
