Help Support Joe in His Fight Against Cancer

Dear friends, family and new friends,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits to ask for your support for our beloved cousin, Joe. Joe has been a cherished part of our family since he started dating my cousin Mindy in college at St. Cloud State. In 2005, Joe faced a daunting challenge when he was diagnosed with cancer. After an inspiring battle, he beat it, and for nearly two decades, we lived without that fear.

Unfortunately, in early September, our world was shaken once again. Joe was diagnosed with a rare recurrence of his cancer, discovering a mass larger than a grapefruit in his abdomen. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the mass before surgery.

When we received this news, we immediately gathered as a family to support one another. Despite the immense pain he was in, Joe made sure to create lasting memories with his family over that weekend. Since then, the past two months have been filled with numerous doctor appointments, emergency room visits, and hospital stays. Today marks the beginning of his second round of chemotherapy, and our thoughts and prayers are with him.

Joe is not just our cousin; he is a devoted father to three incredible kids. Among them is my fabulous godson, Chase, who shines as a gifted dancer at a prestigious studio in Minnesota, Larkin Dance. As any parent knows, pursuing passions like dance comes with significant costs, and it’s crucial that Joe's kids can continue to thrive during this challenging time.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden that has come with Joe’s illness such as uncovered medical expenses since Joe is self employed and unable to work during this time. Your contributions will go towards everyday expenses and ensuring that Joe's children can continue their activities while he fights to regain his health.
