FC Symphonic Winds Trip to Chicago

Our Fullerton College Symphonic Winds have received an exciting invitation to perform at the annual Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival in Chicago, IL, from March 24-25. This wind band festival features outstanding ensembles that receive an opportunity to perform works by one of the most celebrated composers for concert band. In addition to performing in the historic Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center, these students will also receive an opportunity to receive a private clinic with Dr. Mallory Thompson, Director of Bands, Professor of Music and coordinator of the conducting program at Northwestern University. We have been operating a fundraising drive for four months to cover the costs of airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and clinician fees. However, time is running short and we are still in need of any financial support possible to supplement the student contributions. 20 students are committed to this trip and it would be an incredible experience for them. We would really appreciate your help to reach our goal of raising $20,000.
