FCCTC-Practical Nursing Building
Donation protected
As Franklin County’s only one year, fully accredited, adult Practical Nursing Program, we are dedicated to our mission of educating and preparing the adult student to competently and safely practice as entry level practical nurses. The Program was founded in 1958 and has since graduated over 120 classes. That’s roughly 3000 nurses working in and around Franklin County! If you’ve ever used a health care facility in the area, chances are you’ve encountered one of our nurses!
In an effort to improve our educational offerings, we are making a big change! In January 2020, we will be moving to our new permanent location in a brand-new building on the Franklin County Career and Technology Center Campus. Built entirely with private funds and donations, this building not only provides a new and better learning environment for our students, but also the opportunity for the high school students of the CareerTech to put into practice the building trade skills they have learned.
Building is expensive, but the improved educational opportunities will pay dividends for years and years to come. After all, better education means better nurses means better health care for our county!
“For the sick it is important to have the best.” -Florence Nightingale
Help our county have the best possible nurses!
