FCJ missions

The Genazzano community generously contributes to the mission work of the Sisters FCJ through various fundraising activities –such as the Gen Day celebration, mission stalls and Social Justice Week.  In our part of the world, fcj missions are active in:

1. Quezon City, Philippines - FCJ Learning and Development Center serving the poor who live around the Payatas dumpsite, one of the poorest areas of the city.

2. Yangon, Myanmar - the first Catholic pre-school in Dalla, serving children from a poor community.

3. Yogyakarta, Indonesia - Sarasvita FCJ Center for Spirituality and Human Development offers programmes for spiritual and human development.

All monies raised during Social Justice Week 2020 will go towards supporting the elementary and secondary education of children, College and trade scholarships for young people, women and baby health centres and nutrition programs, renovation and rebuilding of homes, women's skills workshops and small business enterprises, food banks and other urgent needs, especially in this time of COVID crisis management.

Genazzano Chief Operating Officer, Sonya Slocombe, will receipt all funds on behalf of the FCJ Missions and Genazzano community.
