Help Doris during her time of treatment

My name is Joseph McManus, and I received help through GoFundMe for my successful cancer treatment earlier this year. It’s my turn to call for help for Doris Hunter, my friend and work-wife for the past 16 years, as she battles breast cancer for a second time. Doris has completed 12 weeks of chemotherapy, is currently receiving another 12 weeks of chemotherapy, and is scheduled for surgery in early November.

Our insurance has been modest about covering the medical costs; her sick time has been used when the side effects are bad enough to leave her shift early. Once Doris is out for recovery, she will be using her sick time and not receiving the xtra pay that we get this time of the year, and we have no idea how long her recovery will be. We don’t know how long she will be with the decreased income to cover basic living expenses.

We are asking for help for Doris to offset some of the expenses and the gaps that insurance won’t cover while she recovers. Positive thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are appreciated too. Every little bit helps, and we thank you for anything you can spare.
