hey! my name is Mariah and i take care of my elderly father. this year has been hellacious. due to insurance issues, my dad will be home much sooner than expected from a rehabilitation facility after a very very long hospital stay. just this past week he took his first steps in months, and now in 8 days he’ll be home. he is too weak to go up the two stairs in front of our house, and with him being 230LBs (after losing 100LB in the hospital) i cannot help him up the stairs, even with help. there is a ramp we’re looking to get that is $1,800. if you know me you know i hate asking for help, but we simply can’t afford it in time for his arrival home. it’s a lot of money i know, but anything helps. thank you
