In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 30, a home and business were lost. My brother-in-law, Nate Wight, a local architect, Roscommon Rotary President and father was awoken by the police as his house was burning. We are grateful to the police that got him out of the house safely. He walked out of the house with nothing, and everything has been lost. This was Nate's home and architecture office. It was also the home for his two daughters, Addie (3) and Junie (2). For those of us that grew up in this community, many of us have connections with this building and it's a huge loss as an iconic space. It's much more than just a loss of a community-loved structure to Nate and his girls. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. If you are able to support them in this extremely difficult and tragic time, please do.
