My healing journey

My name is Isa, I am 34 years old and I am seeing my life and body slowly vanish before me. Scrambling to have a healthy, thriving and operative life, I am putting my word out to the world today so as to seek your support for a matter I cannot move forward with all alone .

As some already know, I have been struggling with a variety of health issues throughout the years. Gradually, a weak and severely damaged digestive system with acute malabsorption has gradually impacted a range of other areas and bodily functions, leading to a depleted and emaciated.

I have attempted to find support in both allopathic and natural medicine, striving to get to the root cause, with some progress but a lot left unclear. Ayurveda, with it’s integrative and truly holistic approach, is what I have found to be most helpful, shedding light and guiding me so I can stay patient, hopeful, committed and resilient throughout this journey; to which I feel ever so grateful.

Last year, I spent time at a healing center in India, which was v beneficial and brought progress. However, in my current state, I need much more: prolonged rest and restoration, urgent deep and true nourishment in all the ways it comes.

This is an ongoing theme not limited to a few months of repose, but in my commitment to do what’s in my capacity to improve, I have decided to head back to India, in this occasion to a different center (Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Hospital ) highly focused on accompanying the patient upclose. My plan is to be able to spend three months there, so as to fully focus on recovery and allow masters of their craft to take control and guide me as best they know. In order to take this step and move forward, I find myself having to ask for financial help to those around me. Given that this is a full time healing program, being resident at a hospital where I will undertake treatments and be provided with medicines, the total costs add up and come to a high number.
