Rebuilding Hope For Family And Saving us

Hello everyone, my name is Reem Shawa, a medical analysis specialist from Palestine. I live in Gaza with my family of 5, my mother, my sister Remas, and my brothers Rami and Muhammad

We lost our father, may God have mercy on him, and we have a great responsibility in our lives. We had to evacuate our house on October 14th. Unfortunately, we will not be able to return to it... because it was recently bombed and completely destroyed. We had the most beautiful house in Gaza, the house in which we lived the most beautiful memories, and now in this war our house has been destroyed, and the memories we lived in it have become mere rubble and nothing more. Our life was happy, and now after this we have no life. We had everything, now we have nothing, so I ask you to help me and my family get out of Gaza so we can live again and start a better life.

I don’t know if I can still think about my ambition, my goals, and my job that I lost, which was a source of income for me and my family. The war has destroyed everything, our lives, our dreams, our source of livelihood, and our entire house. Now we don’t have a house. We survived death several times. War is a nightmare that destroyed our hope, our memories, and our homeland. We did not expect that one day we would reach this difficult time. My family and I find ourselves in an incredibly dangerous situation. We are not safe. We could be exposed to something bad at any moment. Imagine being forced to leave your home and take refuge in tents, all because of the devastating war.

It has torn our society apart. Our safe house has now been destroyed. We find ourselves in a life-threatening situation every day. Israeli air strikes continue unabated

We live in constant fear and inhumane conditions, without access to food, water or medical services. We even resort to eating animal foods. There is not enough medical care. My family suffers from a lack of food and also a lack of healthy drinking water, which has caused us severe stomach pain. We suffer from diseases, and due to the conditions imposed by the occupation, the siege, and the lack of capabilities, it was difficult for us to provide for our basic and simple needs. If there is food cooked on wood, which is not healthy at all, then this is how we make food on wood. There is no clean water to drink, and there is no safe place to live.

We desperately need your support in order to survive. I decided to launch a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe with the aim of raising the money needed to leave Gaza. I want to protect myself and my family and leave Gaza as quickly as possible after we have lost everything.
