On Wednesday September 14, 2016 Cassidy Korenaga was in a terrible motor cycle accident causing him to be suddenly and tragically taken from his mother and father, Jill and Derek Korenaga, and all who loved him.
Cassidy was a bright, loving and large soul; touching all those he came in contact with. He was also his mother and father's only child.
Having to bury a child is the most unnatural and horrible task one can be faced with as a parent. As such there is not much we can say to, or do for, Jill and Derek that will shed light on this situation or provide comfort in this awful time of sorrow and pain. Even still, as a valued part of the First Direct Family we all feel inclined to do something to show our love, support and deepest sympathy during this heart breaking time.
Tragedies of this sort do not only break your heart and change your life forever, they also present needs and expenses that were unforseen and never before thought of. The feelings of grief and having to make arragments to say goodbye to your only child have to be hard enough already but having to do so while being mindful of a budget is just unthinkable.
It is our hope to give the gift of financial peace of mind, in whatever amount that may be, to Jill and Derek so that they may spend all of their time and effort focusing on all that matters; cherishing their memories, honoring Cassidy's life and sending their son off with all of the love they have for him without a worry of being able to do so.
Any amount you wish to give, no matter how small or big, will be deeply appreciated and cherished as a token of love, a comforting hug and the reminder that in the darkest moment of their life, they are not alone.
Thank you,
