Please help Trev get his new elbow
Donation protected
Trevor is our 7yr old rescue staffie who is a massive part of our family, he goes everywhere with us and is the best friend we could ever of asked for. Trevor adapted to life on three legs exceptionally well after he had do have his leg amputated after a bad break that wouldn't heal.
Only a few weeks ago he deteriorated rapidly and it got to the point he couldnt walk any more. After a referal to a "Specialist Vet" (whom I have been told I can't name) we discovered that Trevor has chronic arthritis in his elbow joint and he has worn away all his cartilage between the joint. The X rays were shocking. Instead of smooth bone the joint looked more like a ripsaw where it was so badly affected by the arthritis. The best option for Trevor is to have the specialist vet design him an elbow replacement with long plates down his limb to support his weight on the one leg. Along with the MRI scans and a weeks after care at the surgery the potential bill is so high we can not source the all the funds in time as he will need the operation before he deteriorates further. Any help no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. If we manage to get to each quarter of the target I will upload a video of one of my family members being covered with bake beans/pelted with eggs etc (doing something funny for money!) we are open to any ideas on what you would like to see happen to us on each video!
On the off chance we do reach anywhere near our target and there is any surplus funds we will be donating this to another worthy pooch.
Again thank you for your kindness any donation is so appreciated!
Kind regards
Trev, Annie and family xxx
P.s excuse my dad in the video! we had to get him to walk to send the video to the vets.
