Bill Simons Kidney Transplant Fund

At 18 years old, my brother in law Bill was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).
PKD is an inherited disease where cysts grow on the kidneys, lessening their function and causing them to grow extremely large. There is no cure, only treatment options until a kidney transplant is obtained.
At now 36 years old, his kidneys currently function at 9%. Each week, on top of working 40 hours, being a husband, father to my 2 nephews and foster parent to a 2 year old little boy, he undergoes 15 hours of dialysis for 3 days.
October 1st, they finally received the call they've been waiting for. There is a kidney available for Bill and the surgery is going to be immediate.
This surgery will cost upwards of $500,000 and though they have insurance, they are responsible for a portion of that cost.
As a single income family, Bill will receive 3 weeks of full pay while off work and then only 60% after that. It is unclear on how long he will be off of work. 6 days after Bills transplant, their son Will is having eye surgery. Medical bills are going to be high and to help them out, I am reaching out to family and friends.
They have the most servant hearts and I pray that we are able to help them. They adopted Will at 1 month old, abandoned in a hospital with hydrocephalus and spinabifida. He has had brain, spine and leg surgeries and his eye surgery is Monday October 5th. They adopted their son Jackson from a former foster daughter. Throughout the years, they have fostered 13 teen girls, 4 toddlers and currently are fostering a 2 year old with severe scoliosis and very limited speech. Since in their care, he has had 2 spine surgeries and dental surgery.
I pray that we can all join together to not just help them financially but raise them up spiritually and give them our love and support. It has been a long journey.
I am beyond thankful to the man or woman who selflessly decided to be an organ donor. I will never know you but I am forever grateful that you have saved Bill's life.
