Bringing back Andy - For Always

Ahhh... Where to start.
If you are seeing this there is a good chance you know Matt and I, however there is a chance you may not.   So I'll start there. :)
Matt and Myself (Brittney) have been married for 10 years and have 3 incredible children, all three so different.   Matt is a Coach/Teacher here in our small town of Abbott, TX and is in his 9th year here.  I am thankfully able to be home with our littlest, and hope to remain home until she begins school at which point I plan to teach as well.  I will be going back to school starting this spring.  Our children are 8 (9 very soon), 6 and almost 2.  Two oldest are boys, and the littlest is a very loved, some may call it spoiled, little princess girl.

Now... why go fund me?
About that... :)   I have felt a call for a while, a very long while to "Do Something".  To get out of the rut of our daily living for ourselvs and being satisfied or content with the good life we have been given.  God calls us to do more.  While he has graciously blessed us and provides for our needs,  we don't believe thats where it needs to stop.  In praying for what it was exactly that God was calling me to do I came across Project 143 through a friend who had recently hosted 2 boys, and is now in the process to host them again, as well as adopt.   It stopped me in my tracks and I began praying specifically for this organization, those friends, and what it is we need to do.  Along with praying for direction I also prayed for courage... Courage to talk to Matt (mind you so far this has all been a private prayer of mine and I had not included Matt thus far because I honestly didn't know what it was I needed to tell him).  I had mentioned in passing about this organization, and Matt obviously knows my heart and how it longs to provide, love and help those in need.  SO, the very morning after I prayed for courage... I'm talking my prayer was "Lord give me the courage I need to talk to Matt", I woke up to a little insert from the First Five App that said "Lord give me the Courage I need today to face my fears" --- Ahh... God is good and wastes NO time! lol. :)  So I then told matt.. :)  Like I said he knows my heart, and this was not a blind side, but I'm not sure he knew in previous conversations that It was a matter of the Holy Spirit placing this on my heart.  So we talked, looked into it, prayed, looked into it some more.  I told a few people to be praying, called and spoke with our Pastor, and received the confirmation I was praying for from our Pastor to move forward.  So here we are.  We are moving forward, and quite frankly rather quickly as some of the Winter hosting deadlines have approached and the remaining deadlines are coming quick (October 30th & November 7th)  Like I said God wastes NO time. :)
What is Project 143 and "Hosting"
Project 143 represents the 143 Orphans (a number which has dramitcally grown since the birth of this Oganization) throughout the World and particularly works to place children from Eastern Europe.  To "host" a child is to bring a child from one of these countries/republics into your home for a select amount of weeks and show them the life of a family.  To give HOPE to that child for their future, and an example of what family is all about for the day they have their own family.  It is an opportunity for a child to see, and feel what love is like.  An opportunity to come to the United States that they may never have again.   Hosting a child also increases the childs possibility to be adopted dramatically, close to 70% I belive.  It raises awareness for these children, and advocates on their behalf.  The child will fly from their orphanage to America and depending on the arrival airport we will drive, or even fly to meet them and bring them here.  They will be here for 4 weeks ad we would then see that they get back to the airport to fly back.
Hosting for Matt and I particulary it is an opportunity to show  God's love, happiness, structure and create a relationship with this child that I know will last a lifetime and benefit that child as well as us.  WE are SO excited!  I feel God has molded our family just as he needed so that we can do this long before now.  He has made Matt a teacher not only to be a part of the students lives, but he will be home 3 weeks of the 4 week hosting, whereas any other job would not have that available.  He has given me the opportunity to be home with my own children, but now readily available and home to provide for this child while they are here.  God knows what he is doing ya'll!! He has given us 2 incredibly compassionate boys who I know will be amazing with this child that comes into our house, and a little girl that no one can resist.  We are THANKFUL and READY!  This particular host period is mid December through Mid January.

How will we use the money raised?
Well in order to love on this child we have to get them here. ;) Once they are here we are asked to provide some clothing, shoes and opportunites for fun, and of course food :)  While God has blessed our family tremendously with all that we need I am certain he put this on my heart knowing very well that we (Matt and I) could not afford it on our own.  I know that God wants us to love this precious child while they are here, and He knows we will, but we need your help to get them here and provide for them while they are here.
While some are able to provide financially and do something like this on their own we are not.  However we ARE fully capable to love, enjoy, laugh, teach and share our lives with this child. We are fully trusting God in this.  He (God) knows that we will do what we can once that child is here and will love and show tremendous support for that child while they are here and moving foward.  God also knows that those of YOU who are reading this and are feeling led to help  will do so, and I have ZERO doubt in my mind that God will provide through our family, friends, church and even strangers and that is overwhlemingly incredible and I am SO eager to watch it happen.
While there is no such thing as too much help, I have spoke with my pastor and we agreed that if we receive more than we need, and really guys I'm feeling that we will... ITS SO NEAT TO KNOW GOD IS GOING TO DO THIS... ok.. anyhow, WHEN we reach our goal and surpass it, we plan to use that money for a Child to be hosted this Summer.  God will work that out and make it possible if that is what He sees fit.

SO, if you got to the bottom of this, THANK YOU!!  Thank you for caring enough to continue reading and thank you for believeing in what God is doing through Matt and I.   If you are able and feel it is you're part in this to donate then THANK YOU for that!!  This is not going to be possible without God using YOU to provide all necessary financial means.
Now... I'd be lying if I said we weren't nervous or a little scared... but we are Prayerful for God to replace those uneasy feelings with His overwhleming peace, and He is doing so daily So we know come Mid December we WILL be ready! :)

Before I wrap this up... I know, you're ready for me to stop rambling :) --- I'm just so excited! I want to ask more than ANYTHING to pray. PRAY daily, consistently. 1st and foremost be prayerful for this child.  Be prayerful for our family that we are what this child needs, and that we can shine God's bright light through our daily lives. Be prayerful for ALL of us while he/she is here that we remain healthy and able to give all of ourselves. Be prayerful for whatever it is God is laying on your heart to pray about. HE ANSWERS PRAYERS so pray them!!!
Eeeek!!

We love you much!!  The Hejl's!
