Help Mary fight breast cancer

Mary was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (a form of breast cancer) on October 16, 2023. As many of you know, Mary is a single woman, establishing a new business. Her health insurance has a high deductible.

With her diagnosis coming on the cusp of a new year, Mary will need to meet two deductibles in a matter of three months. Following that, she will have to meet her out of pocket max, which is $9100- the goal for this fundraiser. Mary scheduled her surgery for early January 2024 in order to only have to hit her out of pocket max in one calendar year. After surgery, Mary is expected to receive six weeks of daily radiation.

When I asked Mary wants she needs in terms of support, she joked that all she really needs is referrals for business. She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of generosity in the form of rides and meals and is doing her best to learn to say "yes." (As she did when I offered to start this GoFundMe.) Alleviating stress is vital to Mary's healing process and making sure bills won't overwhelm her is be a great way to show love and support... even if we can't refer clients, give rides, or cook meals. :)
