Feathers From Shelly 2022

This year we will donate gift bags to the chemotherapy patients at Nebraska Hematology-Oncology in Lincoln. (This is where my mom spent so many hours getting treatment.)In the gift bags we will add items that not only will brighten their day, but will also be useful for those who are going through treatment. 

We plan to deliver the bags right before Christmas. 

“What is Feathers from Shelly?”

It is an annual Holiday project of giving in Shelly Kucera's memory. Feathers from Shelly is a memorial created to honor her kind and giving spirit.

We collect donations and present them to a family or an organization that has been touched by cancer. Each year we will search for ways to give.

During Shelly's courageous journey with lung cancer, we saw first hand the daily challenges of living with cancer. We want to use this project to make things a little brighter for families on the same journey, just as Shelly would have done!
