The film, TAKEDOWN is my life story. Hi, my name is Eddie McClintock!
You see, I was a troubled teen balancing life between family, friends, sports and a passion for the arts. I was different. I was awkward. And it’s something I’m seeing in so many young people in this next generation.
Let’s face it; the culture war is raging against our kids. TAKEDOWN is my way of telling these teens that it’s ok to be different. That it’s ok to live confidently and passionately in this ever-changing world.
No more culturist Kool-aid of mindless entertainment that’s brainwashing our kids to live a life without convictions or values. That’s why I need your help to make this film! It is a true passion for me and my family. We are needing to raise an additional $50,000 to start production. Will you help?
TAKEDOWN, based on Eddie McClintock’s high school years as a troubled teen balancing life between the wrestling mat and his passion for the arts. The film is a true-life depiction of the many challenges the young McClintock encountered and how these trials are relevant in today’s culture for young people.
