Feb 19 Survivor Fund

Donation protected
Please consider donating to support two young survivors of a violent attack.

On February 19, 2025, two Grande Prairie children were attacked by their parent with a knife. One child was sent to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton for life saving surgery, and is now recovering from a severed esophagus. The child must now endure up to three months on a feeding tube. Meanwhile, their sibling recovers from a non-life threatening knife wound. Both children are in the care of their loving family surrounded by a supportive community.

The family is seeking your support to help these children recover and begin living a normal and healthy life again.

Your generosity will fund:
1. Peripheral costs for trauma recovery therapy
2. Extra curricular learning opportunities
3. Post secondary educational funding

With your support, we can begin to rebuild these children’s lives and help them heal and grow to their full potential.

Thank you in advance for your kind donation and your belief that these children deserve love, opportunity, and a full life lived.

This fundraiser is run by John, a family member unable to disclose all details to preserve the anonymity of the children. The money donated will be set aside in an account for them to use for the costs of therapy and education.
