Federal Correction Institute-Talladega Employees

Today, the Greater Talladega Area Chamber of Commerce launched a GoFundMe providing a small relief for the 250 employees of the Federal Correctional Institute in Talladega, Al.  Unlike most other federal employees, they are required to report to work or face disciplinary actions. Although we have no control over the shutdown, we can at least help them get to work.

The funds raised will go towards purchasing each employee a pre-paid gas card in the amount of $50.00.
