Help Feed 75 families in Kajiado, Kenya
Donation protected
This fundraiser is to support 75 families facing extreme hunger and unable to work in Kenya due to COVID-19. These families are in Kajiado town, Kajiado County, Kenya. Each of these families has one or both of the parents devastated by HIV/AIDS making their need for nutrition even more dire.
On average it costs $70 per family to buy all of the following food items. This can last a family for a month or longer.
The funds will be used for providing each family with the following food items and basic essentials: Maize Flour 8Kg, Wheat Flour 4Kg, Sugar 2Kgs, Cooking Oil 2L, Green grams 4Kgs, Eggs 2 Trays (60 eggs), Beans 4kg, Tomatoes 2kg, Onions 1Kg, Raw Bananas 4Kgs, Irish Potatoes 3kg, Rice 6kg, Tea Leaves 500g, Toilet Paper 4 rolls, Toothpaste 140g and Bar soap 1kg.
Our goal is to plug-in food support for these families during the duration of this pandemic.
Being able to support these families with food will go along way in alleviating the suffering and discrimination that they are at times subjected to and make these hard times more bearable.
Any form of support will go a long way.
