Pure Religion Children's Home - Kisii, Kenya

Hello, and God bless. 

Not gonna lie - I'm here to ask for money to feed hungry orphans who live in Kenya. They are precious to me, I love them, and want to help as much as I am able.....but I would love some help doing so.

My name is Jonathon Lambson, and I love Jesus. One day, I prayed the Lord would help me to serve Him by sending my way people that I could not only pray for, not only encourage (which I love to do!), but people that I could love on continually. Also, I love feeding people. So I prayed to be able to feed those who were hungry. 

Along comes my friend and brother in Christ, Dennis Maina Onsongo. 

This man, who lives in Kenya, reached out to me through some mutual Facebook friends, and told me about some children his wife and he had been caring for. Abandoned children.

They find kids others dump off randomly, or those who have no parents, or those who haven't anything or anybody who can help them, and bring them home to care for them.

UPDATE - As of 7-17-23, they have over 50 kids to care for.

He asked if I could find it in my heart to Help him to care for the children, and send some money, as they hadn't eaten in several days.

The Lord spoke to my heart, and quickened my spirit...this was the answer to my prayers. This was the opportunity to show the Lord's generosity to those who need it most. This was my chance to have what The book of James calls - Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. 

James 1:27 NLT

As a matter of fact, Dennis didn't have a name for what he was doing, as it was so new, so the Lord showed us both the name for it - Pure Religion Children's Home.

So I, and many others, have been sending small amounts of money here and there to brother Dennis. I started a digital wallet with him through a company called SendWave, and can easily and quickly send money to him. He in turn buys the food, clothing, medicine, and supplies necessary for survival, as Kenya does NOT provide these things free of charge. 

Brother Dennis has a big heart. He loves Jesus, loves his wife, loves these children, and wants to do the will of our Father in heaven. He cannot stand seeing a child suffer.

Let's help him.

Let's do what we can to accomplish the will of God, and help these children. It doesn't take much at all. And.... For those of us that love the Lord, this is an opportunity to do what God tells us to do. Feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Help the oppressed.

Give what you can. You can thank God for the opportunity to do His will, and we'll thank God for your generous heart.
