Let’s feed NYC’s frontlines. We are people whose lives have been fueled by New York City and have been cared for by our Front Liners and First Responders.
At this time, our heroes are fighting the toughest fight to keep people alive. We want to help the best way we know how - through food and by making sure that it nourishes, provides solace and fuels the frontliners that need it most.
How? Every week (or as soon as we hit $550), we will pool the funds, direct the order to a partner restaurant who is open and will deliver to a hard hit hospital in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens.
For $550 you can feed an entire unit of nurses, doctors and aides the only meal they would eat for their shift. You can join at any level.
$15 - feed a frontliner
$45 - feed 3
$100 - feed 6
$275 - feed half a unit
$550 - feed a whole unit (around 30-35 people)
Who are we? Friends and colleagues who are in the realm of food and community-driven social impact.
AYESHA - CEO and Co-Founder of Advancement for Rural Kids (ruralkids.org), a social impact organization that partners with farmers on a 5-cent school lunch that enables rural communities to stand on their own, and secure their food, kids’ schooling and new income in just 3 years.
JHONEL - Wine Director at Atomix restaurant in New York City. In charge of pooling the funds and directing these to our food partners creating the nourishing meals.
DAVID - Brooklyn based sculptor with a "side gig" as the General Manager of Marlow & Sons and Diner in Brooklyn.
JAY - Administrator at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, part of One Brooklyn Health. PE investor and manager focused on higher education, fitness and early childhood development. Catholic Youth Organization coach.
KYLA - Graphic designer and social media manager. Marketing and engagement associate for Advancement for Rural Kids.
